    This map contains 2000 essentially equally spaced framework markers onto the rat whole genome radiation hybrid panel generated by Linda McCarthy in Peter Goodfellow laboratory at Cambridge University (T55). The radiation hybrid may also be viewed integrated with the WIBR/MIT CGR linkage map that is based on two F2 intercrosses, SHRSP x BN (n=48) and FHH x ACI (n=48), containing a total of 4,736 simple sequence length polymorphism (SSLP) markers.


    The Wellcome Trust Centre - Rat Radiation Hybrid Maps (1999)

    A whole genome radiation hybrid panel generated by Linda McCarthy in Peter Goodfellow laboratory at Cambridge University (T55) was used to construct a high-resolution map of the rat genome based on 5255 markers. These include about 3000 new CA-repeat microsatellite markers (Got) and markers with known genetic locations (Wox, Mit, Mgh, Rat).
